Polyamide and polyester are polymer-based synthetic fibers. Polymers are molecules with a high molecular weight that can alter substantially when a small amount of chemical is added. The fact that polyamide and polyester are derived from distinct polymers distinguishes them. Polyamide is a stain-resistant and long-lasting material. It is the artificial fiber that retains its polyamide appearance the longest among the artificial fibers.
